南非醉茄，也称为印度人参（Ashwagandha），也有叫冬樱花，睡茄。虽然其学名为“南非醉茄”，其实它却是印度土生土长且随处可见的地道药材。南非醉茄被公认拥有显著的抗氧化能力。此外，南非醉茄已被用于诱导睡眠。
